Terms of service
By using openTV (“the site” or “the service”) or creating an account on it, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy policy. If you do not agree to them, do not use the service.
1. The service
openTV is a free interface for browsing and watching live TV channels, gathered from open public playlists and refreshed automatically every 12 hours. We do not produce, own or host these channels: the streams come from their sources and may pass through our servers technically so that they play in your browser.
2. Content and its rights
The rights to the channels and their programmes belong to their owners. We do not guarantee the accuracy or suitability of the content, nor that watching it is permitted in your country, and you are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you. If you hold rights to a channel shown on the site and object to its display, write to us at contact@opentv.live with proof of your rights, and we will remove it after verification.
3. The account
- The account is free and personal, and you must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age in your country if higher.
- Provide accurate details and an email you own and keep access to, since you sign in with it; keep your password secret, since it opens the settings and leaves the kids screen. You are responsible for what happens with your account.
- We may refuse any registration, and suspend or delete any account that violates these terms or harms the service or its users.
4. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Access the service with automated programs or harvest its data in bulk, or load its servers beyond ordinary personal use.
- Publish the playback links the site generates, rebroadcast them to the public or exploit them commercially.
- Attempt to bypass protections or attempt limits, or access other people's accounts or data.
- Use the service for anything unlawful or harmful to others.
5. Availability and changes
We provide the service as available; channels, features or the whole service may stop temporarily or permanently without prior notice. We may amend these terms by publishing the amendment here and changing the “last updated” date; continuing to use the service after publication constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
6. Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any express or implied warranty, including warranties of continuity, freedom from errors or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damage, or loss of data, arising from your use of the service or inability to use it, or from the content of the channels or the conduct of their sources.
8. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account yourself from the settings page, or request its deletion by writing to us from its email. Provisions that by their nature should survive, such as the disclaimer and the limitation of liability, remain in effect afterwards.

These terms are written in Arabic and shown in other languages for convenience; in case of any discrepancy between the versions, the Arabic version prevails.
