Delete your openTV account

You can delete your openTV account and everything saved in it at any time, yourself, on the openTV website. The TV app uses the same account, so deleting it also signs the app out.

How to delete it

1. Sign in at opentv.live with your account’s email.
2. Open Settings and enter your password if asked.
3. In the “Manage account” tab, press “Delete account”.
4. Enter your password and press “Delete my account”.

Deleted right away

Your account with its email and password; your favourites, lists, blocks, settings and recently watched channels; and the sign-in of every device, including TVs.

What is kept, and for how long

• The security event log: its entries about the account (the account number, the username and the time of events such as sign-ins) are kept for security and abuse investigation, as the privacy policy explains.
• Database backups, which may still contain the account: deleted after 14 days.
